Liz founded MLT in 2009 after spending years working organizations that were struggling to meet goals, define vision and engage employees. Today she is realizing her dream to help organizations become their strongest by unleashing the potential of their people.
Because of her entertaining, practical, informative, relatable style Liz has become a widely sought after consultant, trainer, keynote speaker and author on corporate mentoring strategies and leadership development. She has trained for and worked with organizations in all sectors on 6 continents. In addition to countless articles, Liz has published two books: 3G Mentoring, which describes MLT’s approach toward mentoring as an essential relational strategy to bridge generational distinctions, global diversity and gender differences within the workforce; Real Leaders: The Power of Authentic Leadership, which draws from her deep practical knowledge of what it takes to be a real leader people will follow. Liz is also the co-host of MLT’s radio show and podcast, M.A.D. (Mentoring Across Differences).
As a lifetime learner, when Liz is not doing what she loves professionally, she can be found reading and exploring new challenges. If you can’t find Liz, you can be sure she is out enjoying the beautiful mountains of Colorado.
Tricia Halsey, MA

From the moment Tricia joined the MLT team she has stretched our thinking with her aptitude for creative strategic development, passion for excellence and deep-set belief that people and organizations are capable of achieving so much more.
Tricia uses her experience and skills to develop MLT’s strategies, ensure the company is on track with its strategic direction and implement operational components so that our clients will have the tools they need to change the world. Her ability to operate on several levels also makes her a valuable asset in writing and editing MLT content. Tricia’s eye for detail helps us maintain an expectation of excellence not only in our operations, but also in our client relationships and in our content delivery.
When she is not working for MLT Tricia runs her own business where she coaches individuals to be more self-aware and to engage in personal change. Tricia loves to spend time with her husband and two young sons, to be outside running, hiking and exploring new places, and to undertake new projects to continually learn and develop personally.
Dee Nyamieh Walker, PhD
VP OF GLOBAL TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Dee has a heart for mentoring and people development. So, it was only natural that he, Liz and MLT would share a vision for empowering organizations and individuals across the globe to develop culturally appropriate mentoring initiatives for executives, emerging leaders and grassroots members.
Originally from Liberia, West Africa, Dee brings a deep understanding of the cross-cultural, global and diversity issues facing organizations in this “glocal” society.
Dee leads Mentor Leadership Team's Africa office and oversees global expansion. Most of his MLT consultation work is with clients in Africa, but his knowledge, experience and understanding make him an asset in consulting and training services for organizations across the globe.
Dee and his family live in Colorado Springs, CO. He is an avid soccer enthusiast, both playing and coaching at several levels. He also enjoys supporting his teenage boys in soccer, football and track.
Amanda Dreher, JD
CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER
Years ago, when Amanda first met Liz, they began dreaming of what would one day be MLT. Amanda was fueled by a passion to see organizations appreciate and tap into the incredible potential of their unique individuals.
Since then Amanda has been the creative mind behind MLT’s resources. Her approach to audio, visual, written and live communication is to provide entertaining and informative content that leaves the audience feeling compelled to change. Amanda’s belief that you should laugh, learn and leave changed has given her an edge when it comes to content creation, production and delivery. And, has made her a successful trainer, author of numerous articles and co-host of MLT’s radio show and podcast, M.A.D. (Mentoring Across Differences).
When she’s not at work with MLT, Amanda is passionate about her volunteer work with organizations that empower women, children and families to step more fully into their purpose and potential. Otherwise you can find her in the great outdoors with her husband and two young daughters or making a mess in some new creative project or activity.
George is passionate about bringing innovative and non-prescriptive solutions to organizations, thus his partnership with MLT. Through our work together, we are able to help organizations operate at their strongest by proactively creating learning and mentoring cultures.
His experience as both an HR and Operations executive in multi-national, multi-million/billion dollar organizations in several sectors gives George a unique perspective that helps make MLT the results oriented company we are. Not only does he have a passion for the people in an organization, but for the success of the organization as a whole. This makes him an excellent speaker, instructor and consultant for our clients.
In addition to his work with MLT, George is President of his own consulting service focusing on HR strategies and solutions. You can always find George in the midst of an adventure or listening to his latest musical discovery.
Years ago when Marsha and Liz worked together in sales, they couldn’t have imagined that they would one day work together to transform corporate cultures. Today Marsha brings to MLT a passion for helping leaders who recognize a need for mentoring but have no idea how to do it, by equipping them with the tools they need to see long-term transformation.
Marsha is a true leader and sets an example for all of us in her selfless, humble attitude and her high standards for ethics and hard work. She challenges us all to continue to raise the bar. Additionally, Marsha has a unique way of seeing and making connections between people which has given her an ability to bridge gaps between gender, generational and global differences. As a result, Marsha brings great perspective and guidance to MLT’s client facing strategies.
Outside of MLT, Marsha jumps at the chance to spend time in the garden and in the majestic mountains of Colorado. Some of Marsha’s favorite time is that spent with her husband, family and grandchildren.
